{"id":2747,"date":"2025-11-29T19:02:38","date_gmt":"2025-11-30T03:02:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/maxvollmer.com\/?p=2747"},"modified":"2026-02-10T11:39:58","modified_gmt":"2026-02-10T19:39:58","slug":"unconditional-love","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/maxvollmer.com\/?p=2747","title":{"rendered":"Unconditional Love"},"content":{"rendered":"<figure id=\"attachment_2739\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2739\" style=\"width: 4608px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"https:\/\/maxvollmer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/June-rose-at-Yapoah-in-2022.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2739\" src=\"https:\/\/maxvollmer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/June-rose-at-Yapoah-in-2022.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"4608\" height=\"3456\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-2739\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">June rose at YaPoAh Terrace in 2025.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>PREAMBLE<\/p>\n<p>Having first written the journal entry below, I&#8217;m coming back to acknowledge that it may have some value for the uncounted number of people who struggle to create and maintain healthy romantic relationships, but it is myopic at the same time.\u00a0 \u00a0The greater value in understanding and incorporating unconditional love into our lives is\u00a0 to apply the principles of acceptance and respect to ALL our human relationships!\u00a0 \u00a0I am reminding myself daily to not judge others near and far, but rather to accept that everyone . . . everyone is involved in their own struggle through life.<\/p>\n<p>JOURNAL ENTRY<\/p>\n<p>The following comes from <strong>Psychology Today<\/strong>: &#8221; <em>When love is unconditional, these three signs are usually present.\u00a0 1) When your partner loves you unconditionally, they love the version of you that\u2019s right in front of them.\u00a0 There\u2019s no secretly hoping that you\u2019ll change with time, no ideal version they\u2019re waiting on;\u00a0 2) A lot of love is lost in the expectation of having it returned . . .
